Qatar Participates in Urgent Meeting of Heads of Drug Control Agencies in GCC States
 Represented by the Ministry of Interior, the State of Qatar participated on Monday via videoconferencing in the urgent joint meeting of the Heads of Drug Control Agencies in the GCC states.
The Qatari delegation participating in the meeting was headed by Director of Studies and International Affairs at the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement of the Ministry of Interior Lt. Col. Mohammed Abdullah Al Khater.
During the meeting, they reviewed mechanisms of joint cooperation between the GCC states in the field of drug control and the most prominent developments related to it. Also, they discussed the emerging challenges related to the promotion of drugs through social media. (QNA)
