Qatar Participates in 18th Meeting of GCC Ministers and Heads of Civil Service Bodies
The State of Qatar participated today in the 18th Meeting of ministers and heads of civil service bodies in the Cooperation Council for the Arab states of the Gulf, which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the aim of strengthening relations with brotherly countries in the fields of civil service and administrative development.
HE President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa headed the Qatari delegation to the meeting, which stressed promoting the joint and collective work, unifying visions, and supporting coordination in order to achieve integration and interdependence between the GCC countries, which supports the lofty goals on which the Council was founded.
During the meeting, the GCC ministers and heads of the civil service and administrative development bodies discussed all social and developmental aspects, topics, projects and plans related to the civil service and administrative development.
They were also briefed on several topics included in the agenda, including the memorandum of the General Secretariat on the final statement and the Riyadh Declaration of the 42nd session of the Supreme Council in the field of civil service and human resources, the methodology for implementing the objectives of the initiatives of the first phase 2023-2022, in addition to the adoption of several initiatives submitted by member states, including the adoption of a joint initiative on programs and training workshops between the GCC countries presented by the State of Qatar.
They also discussed the General Secretariat's memorandum on the subject of unifying the prices of purchasing licenses for human resources systems in the GCC countries and the recommendations made at the meeting of civil service agents that preceded the ministerial meeting.
The meeting witnessed the honoring of a group of competent persons in various sectors of the civil service and administrative development in the GCC countries for the year 2022, in recognition of their great role and remarkable efforts in enhancing and developing human capital.
HE President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa expressed his sincere congratulations to the honorees from the State of Qatar and the GCC countries, and praised the distinguished administrative competent people and experience of the honorees in various positions, hoping that the honor will be an incentive to provide more giving and excellence, and a motivation for their competent colleagues and administrative leaders towards excellence and success.
The competent persons honored included Director-General of the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) Ibrahim Abdullah al-Duhaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Services Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality Ahmed Mohammed Abdullatif Al Sada, Director of the Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth Jaber Saeed Al Humaidi, Director of the Family Affairs Department at the Ministry of Social Development and Family Najat Dham Al Abdullah, and General Director of the Institute of Public Administration at the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau Abdulaziz Saad Al Majali.
