Qatar Orders Expulsion of Iranian Embassy Military and Security Staff
Qatar has officially ordered the expulsion of Iranian embassy military and security attachés, along with staff from both offices, giving them 24 hours to leave the country. The decision comes in response to repeated targeting and aggression by Iran, which Qatar says violated its sovereignty and international law.
The directive was communicated through a formal diplomatic note delivered to the Embassy of Iran in Doha. The note was presented during a meeting attended by senior officials, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairsâ Protocol Director and the Iranian ambassador.
Qatari authorities warned that continued hostile actions could prompt further measures. Officials reaffirmed Qatarâs commitment to protecting national security, sovereignty, and the safety of residents, stressing that adherence to international law remains essential.
