The Qatar Olympic Academy has wrapped up its first course of 2025 focusing on media skills for sports professionals. Over a span of five days, fifty participants from various sectors and academic backgrounds honed their abilities to engage effectively with the media.

Accredited by the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), the course provided valuable insights into best practices for interacting with the press. Participants learned the essentials of media protocol, the dos and don’ts of communication, and strategies to enhance their public image and credibility.

Executive Director of the Qatar Olympic Academy Khaleel Al Jabir emphasized the importance of this training, stressing that effective communication with the media is crucial for athletes and officials, adding that this course equips them with the necessary skills to navigate media interactions confidently.
