Qatar Museums has received 50 photographs by the late Turkish photojournalist Ara Guler to enrich the Museums' art collection, and a Porsche agricultural tractor that will be incorporated into its latest projects at the Qatar Automobile Museum.
This came within the MoU signed by Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Museums (QM) Ahmad Al Namla and Chairman of Dogus Group Ferit Sahenk.
The pictures represent a selection of the works of Guler, dubbed "Eye of Istanbul", who lived during the period 1928-2018. He was famous for his captivating pictures of Turkey's streets, sidewalks and residents in black and white, and his works were displayed in the largest art museums and centers in the world.
