Doha- Qatar Museums has opened applications for the Spring 2022 edition of its Remote and Regular Internship Programme. The ongoing programme, spearheaded by the Learning and Development Section of its Human Capital Department, is designed to support university students, recent graduates and talented and aspiring members of the community who are looking for suitable work placement opportunities.
The programme aims to positively influence interns’ employment prospects; enhance their skills in line with organisational and market needs; improve self-discipline and enable participants to adapt to the regular and remote work settings while having the opportunity to network and build connections.
Ahmad Musa Al-Namla, CEO of Qatar Museums, said: “Our Remote and Regular Internship Programme provides a fantastic opportunity for students and fresh graduates to explore various career paths within the arts and culture sector and at Qatar Museums. Eligible members of the community are invited to apply to the programme, during which participants will work under the guidance of senior employees across various departments.”
During the programme, interns will be introduced to the world of arts and culture, with opportunities to work on current projects and assignments with set deadlines. Interns will also have access to regular support from colleagues and/or managers via regular/remote working systems, group emails and calls, and coffee-and-learn sessions to ensure that they feel part of a supportive team.
The Remote and Regular Internship Programme runs for period of 1 to 6 months and interns have the flexibility to work in either a regular or remote setting, depending on operational requirements and interns’ needs.
University students, fresh graduates and members of the community who are 18 years of age and older are encouraged to apply for the programme. For more details and to apply, please visit https://qm.org.qa/en/about-us/careers-and-opportunities/internships/
