The Qatar Media Center (QMC), under the Ministry of Culture, has announced the launch of a new training program designed specifically for seniors. Starting on January 20 and in collaboration with the Center for Empowerment and Care of the Elderly (Ehsan), the program will offer a series of workshops aimed at enhancing the skills of elderly participants in various modern technologies and public interactions.
The program will cover topics such as mobile photography, TV presence, public speaking, and navigating mobile applications, helping seniors stay connected and engaged in today's digital world. Iman Al Kaabi, QMC Director, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the Center's commitment to fostering a strong relationship with the elderly and offering opportunities that contribute to their well-being and enjoyment.
This new program reflects QMC's ongoing dedication to empowering the elderly and ensuring they have the tools to fully engage with the rapidly changing technological landscape.
