Qatar Handball Team
The Qatari men's handball team has advanced to the semi-finals of the Asian qualifiers of the Paris 2024 Olympics after defeating South Korea 39-25 in a match held in Doha as part of the fourth round of the Group A qualifiers, which is held in Doha and will continue until October 28.
With this victory, the Qatari team has raised their tally to eight points, leading the group standings. The Korean team remained with six points.
Qatar's team delivered a strong performance, deserving their decisive win. Despite a relatively even start in the first ten minutes, with the Korean team being competitive, the Qatari team quickly gained the upper hand. They ended the first half with a five-goal lead, 16-11. In the second half, the Qatari team fully demonstrated their dominance and extended their lead, securing the victory with a 14-goal margin.
