Al Aqsa Mosque
The State of Qatar has strongly denounced the storming of Al Aqsa Mosque carried out by Israelās National Security Minister under the protection of occupation police. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the act as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a deliberate provocation to Muslims worldwide.
In its statement, the Ministry reaffirmed Qatarās categorical rejection of any attempts to undermine the religious and historical standing of Al Aqsa Mosque. It stressed that such actions represent a dangerous escalation and must be confronted firmly.
Qatar called on the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities toward Jerusalem and its sanctities, urging decisive measures to halt repeated Israeli violations.
The Ministry reiterated Qatarās unwavering position in support of the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. These include the freedom to practice their religious rites without restriction and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
