Doha: Qatar Chamber has received an invitation to participate in AIM Congress 2026, one of the world's leading investment platforms, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from September 7 to 9, 2026, under the theme "Reshaping Global Prosperity: Unlocking New Investment Pathways Towards a Sustainable and Inclusive Future."
The invitation was extended during a meeting hosted by Qatar Chamber with a delegation from the AIM Congress Organising Committee. The meeting was attended by Eng. Ali bin Abdullatif Al Misned, Board Member of Qatar Chamber, Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, UAE Ambassador to Qatar, Dawood Al Shezawi, Chairman of the AIM Congress Organising Committee, along with representatives from leading Qatari organisations and members of the business community.
During the meeting, Eng. Al Misned highlighted the strong economic and investment ties between Qatar and the UAE, noting that bilateral trade exceeded QAR 30 billion last year. He described AIM Congress as a key international platform for promoting investment opportunities, exchanging expertise and strengthening sustainable economic partnerships.
He said Qatar Chamber and the country's private sector are keen to participate in the 2026 edition, particularly because of its focus on green energy, sustainable development, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and innovation—areas that align with Qatar's long-term economic vision.
For his part, UAE Ambassador Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi praised the close relationship between Qatar and the UAE and encouraged strong participation from Qatar's business community. He described AIM Congress as a premier global platform for expanding investment, fostering innovation and creating new opportunities for private-sector cooperation across the Gulf and beyond.
Dawood Al Shezawi said the 2026 congress will focus on three main pillars—Global Markets, Future Economies and Next Generations. He noted that the previous edition attracted more than 15,000 participants from 181 countries, including 74 ministers and over 1,385 speakers, highlighting the event's growing international significance.
AIM Congress 2026 is expected to bring together government leaders, investors, policymakers and business executives from around the world to explore investment opportunities, promote international partnerships and address the challenges shaping the future global economy.
