Qatar Celebrates Pakistani Culture With Art, Music, Poetry and Traditional Crafts

Qatar’s Ministry of Culture has hosted a cultural and heritage event for the Pakistani community at Beit Al-Sulaiti, bringing together visual arts, traditional music, poetry and crafts in a celebration of Pakistan’s rich cultural identity.

The event, held in Doha, featured artists based in both Qatar and Pakistan and formed part of Beit Al-Sulaiti’s continuing programme to give expatriate communities a platform to share their traditions and artistic heritage.

Pakistani Art and Heritage Take Centre Stage

Visitors were introduced to different dimensions of Pakistani culture through an art exhibition featuring paintings and other works reflecting the country’s artistic traditions and cultural heritage.

The display also included seven prints inspired by the Mughal era, alongside publications highlighting important historical and artistic milestones.

Poetry and Literature Featured in the Programme

Literature was another major element of the programme, with a poetry evening celebrating Pakistani poetic and literary traditions and giving participants an opportunity to experience another important part of the country’s cultural identity.
