Qatar Airways Holidays (QRH), the leisure division of Qatar Airways, has achieved significant milestones in increasing package sales to Qatar, positioning it as the top-selling destination.
According to the Qatar Airways Group annual report for the fiscal year 2022/2023, QRH focused on promoting destination Doha and its âStopover packages,â which garnered attention from international travellers due to their excellent value for money.
Notably, more than 20,000 visitors enjoyed the coveted âBest Value Stopover in the Worldâ offer, treating themselves to luxurious 4 or 5-star hotel stays for up to four nights.
QRH played a crucial role during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, generating $57.5m in gross sales through all-inclusive travel packages. The momentum continued with their portfolio of global sporting events, such as the Ultimate Fan Experience packages, which granted customers unique opportunities to meet top club players from Paris Saint-Germain and FC Bayern MĂŒnchen.
âAs the nation hosted the Middle Eastâs first-ever FIFA World Cup, a global sporting event that received worldwide acclaim, QRH played a pivotal role in selling and delivering all-inclusive travel packages generating USD $57.5 million in gross sales,â the report explained.
