Qatar 2022: Qatar Play with Canada Friendly on Friday

Qatar National Team will play Friday with Canada friendly at 8 PM Doha local time at the Franz Horr Stadium in Vienna, as part of the two teams' preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The match comes after last Tuesday's 0-3 loss to Croatia with their domestic league players where manager Felix Sanchez tested most of the players in the Qatari squad.

Qatar will play another trial match against Chile on Tuesday as part of their current preparation camp in Austria.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 kicks off on November 20 with the hosts Qatar facing Ecuador at Al Bayt Stadium in group A, which includes the Netherlands and Senegal.

The debut will test the preparations the Qatari team started in June in full squad after the Qatari Football Association decided to disallow internationals from participating in the first seven weeks of the 2022-23 season of QNB Stars League.
