According to its latest forecast report issued by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), the weather inshore until 6 in the evening on Thursday is expected to be hazy to misty at places at first and then becomes hot during the day with some local clouds and very few chance of scattered rain. It is also expected to be humid by night.Â

QMD in its detailed report also adds that wind offshore is likely to be hazy and scattered clouds at times with chance of rain at northeast areas maybe thundery. They also cautioned regarding expected thundery rain at northeast areas along with strong wind and high sea on the day.
The wind inshore is expected to be variable less than 05 knot at first, and then becomes mainly northeasterly to northwesterly 06 to 16 knot reaches 21 knot at places at times.
The wind offshore is likely to be mainly northeasterly to southeasterly 08 to 18 knot gusting 22 knot with thundery rain.
Visibility will be 4 to 9/3 kilometers or less at places at first.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, rises to 4 feet at times, while offshore it will be 3 to 5 feet, rises to 7 feet with thundery rain.
