QMD Has Issued A Marine Warning For Strong Winds And High Seas Starting Today

QMD warns of strong winds and high seas affecting marine conditions

The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued a marine warning beginning today, December 26, and extending through the weekend due to the forecast of strong winds and high seas. 

According to their recent weather update, the country will experience fresh northwesterly winds, expected to become strong offshore from this afternoon until the weekend. 

Sea heights are expected to vary between 3-6 feet, potentially reaching 8 feet.

The Department advises everyone to take necessary precautions and abstain from engaging in any marine activities during this period.
