QMC Lines Up Ramadan’s Radio and TV Programs

A unique lineup of programs coming up this month

Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) is presenting a number of distinguished programs during Ramadan through its TV and radio channels.

These programs include major productions that cover all areas of interest specifically tailored to the audience, ranging from entertainment, knowledge, religious programs, and interesting competitions and quizzes.

HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani al-Thani, CEO of QMC, pointed out that ongoing work is aiming to meet the expectations of viewers of all programs. The Ramadan programs are considered among the most important seasons of the year due their importance for the people, he noted.

HE Sheikh Abdulaziz said QMC has provided all the needed requirements of its TV channels and radio stations so that they can present useful and distinguished content that will involve all the elements contributing to popularity and attraction.

Essa al-Hitmi, director of Al Kass Sports Channels, said the channels will continue to present various health and sports awareness programmes to its viewers, in addition to broadcasting Arab and Asian championships. 

Additionally, the channels will organize the 10th edition of Al Kass Ramadan Football tournament after it was stopped for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ali Al-Sada, acting in-charge of the Qatar TV management, said Qatar TV will have a rich variety of programs to benefit and to entertain the viewers covering religious and cultural programs as well as competitions, in addition to drama productions.

Mohamed Nasser al-Mahdi, Director of Qatar Radio, said that Qatar Radio aims to present its listeners with upgraded and constructive content that responds to their needs and expectations.
