Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued today Treasury Bills and Islamic Sukuk for one week, one month, three months, six months, and nine months maturities. The issuance amounted to a total of QR 2 billion.
The Qatar Central Bank said today in a post on X, that the issuances of treasury bills were as follows: QR 200 million for one week maturity at an interest rate of 5.7615 percent, QR 500 million the one month maturity at an interest rate of 5.7991 percent, QR 500 million for a period of three months at an interest rate of 5.8183 percent, QR 500 million for the six-month maturity at an interest rate of 5.7765 percent, and QR 300 million for the nine-month maturity at an interest rate of 5.6948 percent.
According to the bank, the total private bids in treasury bills and Islamic sukuks amounted to QR 5.4 billion.
