Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in Arab-US Meeting in Jordan

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani along with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Egypt, and the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization participated in a meeting with HE US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that was held in Amman on Saturday.

During the meeting, they discussed all repercussions and ways of ending the dangerous deterioration that threatens the security of the entire region and stressed the Arab position calling for an immediate ceasefire as well as the immediate and urgent delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

His Excellency stressed, during the meeting, the need for concerted regional and international diplomatic efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire and to permanently open the Rafah crossing to ensure the urgent flow of relief and humanitarian aid convoys to the Palestinian brothers besieged in the Gaza Strip.

His Excellency called on the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities to provide protection for the brotherly Palestinian people and to compel Israel to comply with international law and international humanitarian law.
