DOHA - Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad of the Arab Republic of Egypt HE Dr. Badr Abdel Aty held a telephone conversation on Saturday.
During the call, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between Qatar and Egypt and ways to support and strengthen them, as well as the latest regional developments — particularly the diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalating tensions and enhancing security and stability in the region.
His Excellency the Prime Minister reiterated the State of Qatar's full support for all efforts aimed at defusing tensions and reaching a comprehensive agreement that achieves sustainable peace in the region.
The conversation reflected the close and ongoing consultation between Doha and Cairo, which maintain regular coordination on regional files of mutual concern as part of their broader strategic partnership.
