Dr. Majed Al Ansari, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Qatar has confirmed that more than 90% of recent attacks targeting the country were successfully thwarted, despite ongoing regional tensions and security challenges.
Officials clarified that the absence of recent public alerts does not mean Qatar has not been targeted, but rather that incidents did not require official warnings.
During a press briefing, Dr. Majed Al Ansari, Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Qatar reserves the right to respond to attacks, though no final decision on retaliation has been made. He emphasized the importance of preserving the “brotherly relationship” between the people of Qatar and Iran, placing unity above political differences.
Dr. Majed Al Ansari also stressed the need for regional coexistence, highlighting dialogue, cooperation, and trust‑building as essential to maintaining stability and rebuilding confidence across the Gulf.
