Minister of Commerce and Industry Meets First Deputy PM of Kazakhstan

HE Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, met on Monday with HE First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, and his accompanying delegation, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of joint cooperation in the commercial, investment and industrial fields and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to discussing trade policies between the two countries, and the efforts made by the two sides to address the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
During the meeting, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance highlighted the economic policies established by the State of Qatar to support the private sector, including the incentives, legislation and promising opportunities that were made available to encourage investors, businessmen and companies to invest in the country.
The two sides also discussed preparations for the next session of the meeting of the Qatari-Kazakhstan Joint Committee for Economic, Commercial and Technical Cooperation, which is scheduled to be held in Doha. (QNA)
