State of Qatar
The State of Qatar voiced condemnation of the attack which targeted an oil tanker off the coast of Oman, and called for resorting to the international law to ensure that such attacks would not be repeated in the future, to maintain security and stability in the region.
In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar's total rejection of actions that would disrupt the safety and security of international maritime transport and impede the movement of ships and tankers.
The statement underlined the need for all countries to abide by international conventions and norms regulating navigation throughout the world. (QNA)
