QMD warns of strong winds and light rain on Monday

According to the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD), the weather inshore until 6pm on Monday is expected to be hazy at places at first and later varies from hot to very hot with scattered clouds and chance of light rain at places at times and issued a warning of strong wind at some places.

The deatiled forecast also reports that it will be humid by night and offshore will be hazy during the day with scattered clouds at times.

The reprot also added that the wind inshore will be variable less than 5 knot at first that may become mainly northwesterly to northeasterly with speed 5 to 15 knot and 20 knot at places during the day.

The wind offshore is likely to be southwesterly to northwesterly at first, shifting to northeasterly to southeasterly 4 to 14 knot.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet.
