The latest forecast update by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) reports that weather inshore until 6 p.m. on Thursday is expected to be hazy at places at first, and then varies from hot to very hot during the day with scattered clouds. QMD also reports that the region is likely to witness humid by night and hot weather conditions.Â
The report added that weather offshore is likely to have scattered clouds at times.
The detailed weather report mentions wind inshore is expected to be mainly southwesterly at first, shifts to northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot gusting to 20 knot at places during the day.
The wind offshore will be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot, gusting 20 knot at times at north.
Visibility will be 4 to 9 kilometers.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, rises to 3 feet at times, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet at times at north.
