QMD provides safety tips due to the hot conditions during weekend

Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has stated that on weekend, the wind is expected to blow less than 5 KT at first and later becomes northwesterly to northeasterly at 5-15 KT reaching to 18 KT at some places during the daytime.

The weekend weather update also reports that Sea heights on both days will range from1-3 ft and the visibility will range from 4-9 kilometres.

Since Qatar has been witnessing constant hot weather conditions, QMD has provided few safety tips during the weekend. 

The following are recommended by the Met department:

1. Wearing comfortable, light-colored clothes to reflect the sun's light.

2. Drink enough fluids.

3. Children to not to be left alone in the car.

4. Workers in exposed/outdoor places should take breaks in the shade.
