QMD reports chances of rain, strong wind and high sea on Friday and Saturday

The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has stated that the weekend is likely to witness chance of rain, and can expect thunder at some places. Thursday night until Friday, strong wind and high is also expected.

The weekend is also likely to witness hot weather conditions during the day with local clouds.

QMD further added that the minimum and maximum temperature on Friday and Saturday will range from 33 degrees Celsius to 41 degrees Celsius. 

Sea heights is likely to vary between 1-3 ft. On Thursday, sea heights may reach 4 ft at times inshore, 2-4 ft rising to 7 ft with thundery rain offshore. 

The visibility is also expected to range between 4 to 9 km/ 3 km or less at places at times during thundery rain.
