New Amiri Resolutions and Laws Announced Today

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued today a number of Amiri Resolutions No. (18) To increase the pensions of retired individuals in 2022.

As per the decision, it would be implemented and enforced as of 1/4/2022, and published in the Official Gazette.

Law No. 2 of 2022 regarding military retirement was also issued today.

The law stipulated its implementation and enforcement after six months from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, with the exception of Article 20, which is to take effect immediately upon publication of the law.

The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani also issued Law No. 1 of 2022 issuing the Social Insurance Law.

The law is effective six months after the date of its publication in the official gazette, with the exception of Article 4 (paragraph 5), Article 13 (paragraph 1) and Article 30 (paragraph 1) which shall be enforced starting from the date of the issuance of this law. 

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani also issued today Law No. 1 of 2022 issuing the Social Security Law.

The law stipulated its implementation and enforcement after six months from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, with the exception of Articles 4 (fifth paragraph), 13 (first paragraph), 30 (first paragraph), which are implemented from the date of issuance of this law.
