'Echo of Lost Innocence,' a poignant art installation, debuted at Barahat Msheireb in Msheireb Downtown Doha. Created by artist Bachir Mohammad, the exhibit showcases 15,000 teddy bears, each representing a child affected by conflict.
This powerful visual display is a stark reminder of the innocent lives touched by war, with each bear wearing a black T-shirt that reads: 'I'm not just a number. I'm human. With an identity. With a homeland. I am Palestinian.'
Organized by Msheireb Properties in partnership with Qatar Charity, the installation seeks to raise awareness and encourage action on critical humanitarian issues. Open to the public from September 16-26, 2024, from 4 pm to 10 pm daily, with free entry, 'Echo of Lost Innocence' highlights the role of art in addressing global challenges and Qatar's dedication to supporting humanitarian efforts through cultural expression.
