The Ministry of Labour has announced that private sector employees in Qatar will be entitled to a three‑day Eid Al‑Adha holiday with full pay, in line with the provisions of the Labour Law.
Officials clarified that if work requirements necessitate employees to perform duties during the holiday period, the provisions of Article 74 of the Labour Law will apply, ensuring appropriate compensation and legal protection.
The announcement underscores Qatar’s commitment to safeguarding workers’ rights while enabling the private sector to observe one of the most significant occasions in the Islamic calendar.
