The Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the opening of nominations for the 25th edition of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance.
The Ministry sent circulars to all government schools urging the participation of their students in the Award which aims at achieving educational excellence, nurturing the gifted and innovators, improving educational performance, and honoring all groups and entities related to the education sector from institutions and individuals who provide outstanding achievements and creativity.
According to the Ministry, this year's edition includes a set of new standards, stemming from the interest of the Award institution to keep pace with all changes in the education arena, qualify talents and ambitious projects aimed at promoting educational excellence, and upgrading the entire educational and educational system.
Many Qatari students, schools and teachers have won in the Award's previous editions, which reflects the keenness of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education on participating in external and internal competitions, and enhancing students intellectual and competitive skills.
