Ministry of Culture Takes Part in 3rd Edition of "Me and My Child" Festival organized by Qatar National Library
The Ministry of Culture is participating in the 3rd edition of the "Me and My Child" festival organized by "Qatar Reads" initiative of the Qatar National Library devoted to families.
The four-day event which kicked off Wednesday at the Ceremonial Court in the Education City primarily aims to offer the opportunities for the single family to discover books and new products of maternity and childhood, in addition to promoting familial values and solidifying tight-knit families.
The program seeks to extend bridges of communication with experts in numerous fields through workshops, symposiums, meetings, and interactive games held specifically for this purpose which best suits all age groups.
The participation of the Ministry of Culture in the aforementioned festival goes in alignment with its vision aimed at promoting the cultural exchange and bolstering societal ties, as well as exploring the crucial opportunities to converge and learn about the Qatari culture and its various traditions through the interactive activities and publications related to children and families offered by the ministry's pavilion.
Commenting on the ministry's participation in the festival, Director of the Libraries Department at the Ministry of Culture Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain said he is delighted to see this participation in the festival which promotes familial values and cultural awareness among families, adding that he aspires to further cultural participations that help promote the community's awareness and interest in the familial culture.
