The Ministry of Culture held a panel discussion Tuesday under the theme of women and culture domains, Qatari women leaderships in culture and arts. The panel was held to mark the International Women's Day which coincides with Mar. 8 each year.
The discussion featured the engagement of the writer, consultant, and expert in the affairs of persons with disabilities Dr. Hala Al Saeed, and Dr. Fatima Al Maadheed, and was moderated by media professional Hessa Al Suwaidi.
Director of the Department of Culture and Arts at the Ministry of Culture Maryam Yassin Al Hammadi said Qatar marks this day through empowerment and privacy set by the state that strike a balance between women's role and secure the supportive environment that helps them perform their familial roles in the community.
