Ministry finds company changing country of origin of meat and vegetables

MoCI reported various violations

Ministry of Commerce and Industry reported various violations, including changing of country of origin, against an importing company in Qatar.

During inspection, officials found one of the leading commercial companies, who specialize in importing and distributing vegetables, fruits and meat, manipulating the country of origin of vegetables, fruits and meat. 

It also reported that the company was selling spoiled fruits and expired products.
