HE Minister of Labor Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri
The Police Academy, represented by the Graduate Studies College, hosted HE Minister of Labor Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, during the general assembly for participants in the "Security Command and Staff" program.
HE Dr. Al Marri discussed key areas of collaboration between the Ministry of Labor and the security services to strengthen the enforcement of laws and regulations governing migrant labor, including monitoring residency and work permits. He also highlighted the importance of awareness campaigns to educate foreign workers about their rights and duties, as well as ensuring that employers comply with the relevant regulations.
His Excellency further outlined the Ministrys efforts in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior to regulate the labor market and manage worker recruitment to support comprehensive development. He also emphasized the Ministrys role in enhancing the work environment and safeguarding workers' rights in line with Qatars National Vision and the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.
The meeting concluded with an engaging discussion between HE Dr. Al Marri and program participants on the key issues addressed during the session.
