Azzam Al Mannai: Behind the Camera Exhibition

HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani opened this evening an exhibition entitled "Azzam Al Mannai: Behind the Camera" at the Eiwan Al Gassar gallery. The exhibition will continue for the period of a month, ending November 9.

The exhibition includes dozens of photographs of different sizes that present the richness and diversity of Qatari wildlife. The exhibition space is decorated by the equipment used by the photographer Azzam Al Mannai in photography, digital photo printers, and the car he uses on photography trips.

In statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani said that the "Azzam Al Mannai: Behind the Camera" exhibition uses photographs to delve into details that only a specialist would pick up on, especially given the difficulties that surround capturing such photographs, that Al Mannai's professionalism and angle choosing skills overcome.

His Excellency praised Al Mannai's work, especially that some of them are in their natural size, particularly those related to marine life, which adds even more dazzle to the recipient.

HE Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani noted that the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, in cooperation with the competent authorities, welcomes all initiatives aimed at spreading environmental awareness using photographs.
