Minister Of Culture Inaugurates Contemporary Art Exhibition

Minister of Culture H E Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Thani inaugurated the "Contemporary Art in the Service of Identity and Heritage" exhibition at Al Jasra Cultural and Social Club yesterday.

Scheduled until mid-December, the exhibition features the works of several Qatari and resident artists.

Khalid Al Obaidan, Vice Chairman of Al Jasra Cultural and Social Club's Board of Directors, highlighted that this exhibition aligns with the club's broader mission, encompassing literature, culture, and the arts.

He emphasized the significance of fine art as a crucial contributor to broadening perspectives and creating a captivating vision of various subjects.

Al Obaidan mentioned that the exhibition will include accompanying events and will be accessible to the community by extending invitations to relevant authorities, schools, and other interested parties.

He underlined the noteworthy presence of the participating artists in both local and international artistic realms.
