The Department of Meteorology has said: "Thundery rain with strong winds at times. High seas offshore."

The daily weather report, inshore until 6:00 pm Friday afternoon, has hot weather during the day and partly cloudy with a chance of separated rain but it might be thundery too.

The weather will be partly cloudy with risk of scattered rain that may become thunderous. You should approach the sea.

On the inshore, winds will be from northwest and northeast at 5–15 knots classes This is with gusts of up to 25 knots. Offshore winds northwesterly 8-18 knots, up to 24 knots gusts.

Inshore, sea conditions will vary from 2–4 feet, increasing to 5 feet at times. Also offshore seas of 3–6 feet with some to just around 8 at times.

Visibility inshore is 4–9 km, reducing to 3 km or less at times in thundery rain. Visibility offshore will be 5–9 km, falling to 3 km or less at times in thunderstorm rain.
