MOEHE Announces Results of "Future Programmers" Competition

The Academic Guidance Section in the Educational Guidance Department in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) announced the results of the "Future Programmers" competition in its first edition with the participation of a wide spectrum of 75 male and female students from the secondary schools that pursue the technological track within its educational tracks.

Students Abdullah Ali Al Kuwari, Mubarak Khalid Al-Thani, Jassim Muhammad Iqbal and their coach Mahmoud Muhammad Ibrahim from Khalifa Secondary Boys won the first place in the Boys Schools category, while Mohammad Bin Abdulwahhab Independent Secondary School for Boys, and Al Wakra Independent Secondary School for Boys, represented by Omar Salem Al Marri, Hussein Muhammad Al Naama, Issa Hussein Al Kathiri, and their coach Malik Al Tayeb, had won the third place in this competition.

In addition, in the categories of girls schools, Al Bayan Secondary Independent School for Girls had won first place with the participation of students, namely Amna Muhammad Al Badr, Saeeda Bilal Al Jassem and Ruqia Ahmed Al Adsani and their coach, Soraya Al Mashlawi, while Al Iman Secondary Independent School for Girls had won the third place and students Fatima Adel Al-Hayiki, Nahr Hussam Al-Din, Raudah Jassim Al-Bader and their coach Khawla Youssef represented the school's contenders in this competition.

Director of the Department of Educational Guidance at the Ministry Moza Al Madhahka said that the real victory comes in honor of participation in this crucial competition in which female students had responsibly took part with their aptitude and assiduous work that patently demonstrated the extent of cooperation in the exerted efforts among students, including the obvious effect of teachers' dedicated efforts to training the students and engage them in this competition, in addition to providing the conducive environment, emphasizing that the sponsorship of these extra activities that bolster the educational curricula rests in the core interest of the department to further develop the innovative thought values and manner of solving problems.

The competition comes within the ongoing preparations to represent the state of Qatar in the 11th Arab Future Programmers competition which is due to be held during September 23-24, 2022 in Jordan with the participation of Qatar through students teams from Khalifa Secondary Boys & Girls, Al Bayan Secondary Independent School for Girls and Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys.
