Lusail International Circuit (LIC) has announced the start of early bird ticket sales for the MotoGP™ Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar, in the first of two sales phases. The latest installment in nearly two decades of hosting the championships, the 2023 races will be held from November 17-19 at the revamped Lusail International Circuit.
MotoGP™ Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar, the only race in the MotoGP calendar to be held at night, promises a night-time high-octane weekend of world-class racing, with a range of ticket categories available for fans to get closer to the action. Ticket categories include Main Grandstand, General Admission (Lusail Hill), and Hospitality. They can be purchased for the entire weekend or any single day, with a special early bird discount of 20% on tickets purchased during this initial phase.
This year, Lusail International Circuit offers fans a chance to experience the racing action together with their loved ones, as children under 12 have free access to attend all three days for free when accompanied by an adult with a General Admission ticket; a spot can be booked for children while purchasing the ticket.
And now to the 2023 racing season; for the first time, MotoGP weekends will also feature ‘Sprint Race Saturday,’ a sprint where riders will go head-to-head in an exhilarating race that is half the distance but double the action, as only top nine riders will score points for the race. Fans can learn more about how this addition to the schedule is set to increase the drama on the track.
Mr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai, President of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation and Lusail International Circuit, commented: “We have successfully hosted 21 editions of MotoGP and this year we look forward to welcoming 22nd edition back to Lusail International Circuit in 2023 for a weekend of exhilarating racing experiences.
