Ministry of Labour
The Ministry of Labour has warned individuals and companies from engaging in the business of recruiting workers from abroad on behalf of others without obtaining an approved license.
The Ministry affirmed on its Twitter account that “those who fail to do so will be subject to legal accountability.”
The Ministry also advised those who have contracts with a manpower office to ensure that the office has an approved license by the ministry to recruit workers from abroad on behalf of others.
Yesterday, the Ministry closed 24 labour recruitment offices for non-complying with employers’ contract terms and violating Ministry’s decisions.
