LG and District Cooling International Partnered to Provide LG HVAC Products in Qatar

During a conference organized by LG Electronics (LG) and District Cooling International (DCI), LG displayed its latest Commercial and Residential HVAC solutions. The range of products showcased included the most recent Oil-Free Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chiller and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology Multi V 5, the industry-leading products designed to meet the heating and cooling needs of commercial and residential spaces.

At the conference, LG and DCI made a formal announcement of their partnership, with a commitment to deliver energy-efficient, durable, and effective HVAC systems, tailored to the specific needs of the local market, to businesses and individuals in Qatar. Oil-Free Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chiller

LG’s Oil-Free Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chiller is an innovative solution that enhances energy efficiency and reduces operating costs with oil-free technology. The chiller features the magnetic bearing and a high-speed direct driven LG technology. The rotor is levitated by well-controlled electromagnetic force, which adjusts the distance between the rotor and the bearing surface with an electric signal from a precise proximity sensor based on LG mobile technology. The accurate sensors simultaneously locate the shaft and send a signal to the bearing controller to adjust the magnitude of the electromagnetic field, correcting any deviations or perturbation within mere microns. In addition, LG’s chiller is designed with a focus on minimizing installation space and achieving a compact size, featuring a single large tonnage compressor and positive pressure refrigerant. This design makes it particularly well-suited for small areas requiring both remodeling and new construction, where minimizing the size of the machine room can provide valuable additional space and construction cost savings.

LG MULTI V 5 is an integrated solution that combines advanced technologies for high rise buildings.
