Katara International Arabian Horse Festival to be Held in Feb 2023
The third Katara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF), which will include some of the best purebred Arabian horses, is planned for February of next year.
The festival, which will feature the Arabian Peninsula Horse Show, The Arabian Horse Auction, and The Title Show, will run from February 1 through February 11 at the Katara Cultural Village grounds, Katara said via Twitter.
Cultural Village Foundation, Katara, said that authentic Arabian horses are symbols of “strength, originality and pride. A wonderful 3rd edition that will include the most beautiful events and the finest exceptional competitions on the grounds of Katara,” it wrote on its social media accounts.
The festival will also feature a variety of other contests and activities, including a horse parade, an exhibition of equine stamps, photography, and light displays on the Katara Esplanade and Amphitheater.
According to Katara, those who want to enter the festival's poetry competition must register on the KIAHF website by December 31, 2022, and those who want to display their horses must register by December 25, 2022.
The event, which is put on by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, and the Qatar Equestrian Federation, strives to preserve Qatar's rich equestrian legacy and provide the purebred Arabian horse's distinctiveness a global platform.
The festival, which is sponsored by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is a premier occasion and a representation of power, individuality, and pride.
