Kahramaa Honored with 2024 ATD BEST Award

The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa), represented by its Human Resources Department, has been honored with the ATD BEST Award for 2024 by the Association for Talent Development (ATD).

This prestigious award, presented by the US-based Association for Talent Development (ATD), acknowledges organizations that demonstrate excellence in education, staff development, and talent management.

As one of the largest entities in training and talent development, ATD, founded in 1943, has formed numerous global partnerships with training providers. Kahramaa’s recognition at ATD's annual conference places it among the leading institutions and companies worldwide.

The award highlights the “Best Learning and Development Strategy for Individuals and Talents,” celebrating initiatives that significantly enhance business success.

Najlaa Al Buanain, Manager of the Human Resources Department at Kahramaa, stated, “We consider our human resources the lifeblood of the corporation. Our commitment is to foster an effective, engaging educational and developmental environment, empowering our staff to enhance their skills and talents. This improves efficiency and productivity, benefiting both our employees and Kahramaa.”

She added, “This award will undoubtedly motivate us to further refine our strategy and focus on skill development for our staff, aligning with the corporation’s vision and goals.”

Fatima Al Abdullah, Head of Training, Development, and Qatarisation at Kahramaa, remarked, “In recent years, we have dedicated ourselves to evolving Kahramaa’s training and development strategy. We’ve embraced modern methodologies and global best practices to advance our staff’s capabilities, moving beyond conventional learning models.”
