The report highlighted the speech of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, who stated that Qatar's hosting of Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha aligns with its commitments to sustainable development, both nationally and internationally. He emphasized that these initiatives are carried out under the guidance of HH the Amir of the State of Qatar, as part of Qatar National Vision 2030, within the framework of achieving a balance between his countrys development needs and protecting its natural resources on land, sea and air, to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030, one of its pillars is the development of a comprehensive environmental strategy, with a primary focus on preserving the environment for future generations.

In a separate SPA report, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohammad Al Bedaiwi highlighted the significance of Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha. He noted that it convenes at a crucial time for the international community to discuss optimal ways of preserving the Earth's environment, ensuring the sustainability of the natural ecosystem, and addressing the numerous challenges posed to sustainability.

The exhibition covers an extensive area of approximately 7 million square meters of green spaces, including the international pavilions, which serve as centers for gardens, exhibitions, and international events.
