HIA Qatar
Hamad International Airport has announced that it would start testing the concept of limiting the access to the departures and arrivals curbsides to authorized vehicles only, and diverting all general public vehicles to use the available car park facilities for passengers pick-up and drop-off. The trials will begin on June 13th 2022 at 10 am.Â
This is being done in the interest of customer experience, safety and security.
During the trials period, and for the convenience of our customers, Hamad International Airport shall offer grace period of twenty minutes, without charge to ease passenger drop off and pick-up within the Short Term Car Park.
Payment for short term car parking must be made at the machines located before the carpark, on level 2. There are no payment options available at the exit of the car park. In order to avoid delays or inconvenience, kindly pay at the building before exiting towards the parking.
Hamad International Airport offers you a wide variety of transport options that seamlessly connect you between the airport and the city. The bus pavilion, taxi pavilion, metro station, car parking, car rental and limousine services are all conveniently located within walking distance from the airport’s arrivals and departures hall. As always, HIA staff will be available to assist our passengers round the clock.Â
