In 2023, Hamad International Airport (DOH) achieved significant success and reached new milestones. The award-winning airport exceeded expectations by serving an unprecedented 45,916,104 passengers throughout the year, showcasing a remarkable 31 percent increase compared to the previous year, 2022.
Passenger volumes continued to climb in 2023, surpassing even the momentum established during the historic FIFA World Cup.
The airport reported 252,059 aircraft movements over the past year, which is a 22 percent increase compared to the previous year. Hamad International Airport also witnessed growth in cargo operations amounting to a total of 2,340,711 tons of cargo. The airport has served a total of 52 airlines in 2023.

Since its establishment in 2014, Hamad International Airport, often referred to as the "Beating Heart of Qatar," has consistently exhibited strong growth. It proudly boasts a cumulative passenger count nearing 303 million, showcasing a 63 percent increase in annual passenger volume since it started operations in 2014.
Notably, Hamad International Airport has been recognized among the World's Busiest Airports of 2023 according to OAG's Global Airline Schedules Data.
