HIA Continues Hosting Exciting Entertaining Activities for Passengers
Hamad International Airport (HIA) continues to host a plethora of exciting activities and events at its premises - providing its millions of passengers with the ultimate FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 experience.
HIA Chief Operating Officer Eng. Badr Mohammed Al Meer said: "As the official airport partner of the first FIFA World Cup in the Middle East, we are delighted to be hosting several activities and events at our premises - celebrating the tournament with our travelers and proudly representing the State of Qatar. Curated for all passengers, the FIFA-themed activities will provide our visitors with a variety of options to discover HIAs world-class services and hospitality." Offering inbound and outbound travelers an extended memorable experience and be part of the legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the events at HIA include match day themed performances, a mosaic photo wall, a number of kids zones, fan zones and viewing zones, in addition to interactive virtual activities like the AR football - an augmented reality interactive activity with Laeeb Mascot reacting with the players - and a dedicated try your teams jersey booth for football fans to pose for photos with their favorite team jersey and have them sent directly to their email and more.
The mosaic photo wall, located next to the famous lamp bear at the center of the airports south plaza, provides passengers with the opportunity to have their picture taken and become part of the legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. In collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) in Qatar, several activity booths have been installed at HIAs north plaza - including WHOs "Sport for Health" and "Bring the Moves" campaigns.
