FC Barcelona is champions of The Spanish Super Cup
FC Barcelona recently emerged as the champions of the Spanish Super Cup by defeating Real Madrid FC with a score of 3-1.
The opening goal was scored by Gavi after an interception by Sergio Busquets who passed the ball to Lewandowski which led to the assist for the goal.
The second goal was scored by Lewandowski with the help of an assist provided by Gavi just before the second half.
The third goal was scored by Pedri with another assist from Gavi in the 66th minute of the game.
Benzema scored a goal in the final minutes of the match for Real Madrid F.C. which was just a consolation.
This final was the first loss for Real Madrid F.C coach Carlo Ancelotti since 2014 and the first victory for FC Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez since taking over.
The Spanish Super Cup has now been won by FC Barcelona for a record 14 times while Real Madrid F.C has won the cup 12 times.
