Good news for shoppers today. Two Audi and thousands of riyals worth of cash prizes are up for grabs for the lucky shoppers at different malls in the Sultanate. The promotions will be available for shoppers participating in the Qatar Summer Festival’s Shopping Fun activity, hosted by Qatar Tourism Authority.

“A minimum purchase of QR200 at any participating shop and retail outlet in The Pearl-Qatar, Hyatt Plaza, The Mall, Al Khor Mall, City Center Doha or Dar Al Salam Mall will give a shopper one raffle coupon,” one of the organizers announced.

During the first raffle draw conducted at Hyatt Plaza last week, 30 winners have got cash prizes, from QR 1,500 to QR 100,00 and two shoppers drove away Audi A4 and Audi Q7 with their Audi Cards. The second raffle draw will also take place today at City Center Doha from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Jorg Harengerd (General Manager, City Center Doha), said that one of the winning coupons for an Audi car in the first draw came from their mall.

He mentioned that the Shopping Fun activity had given the chance to win prizes to many shoppers, who enjoyed shopping with their families and friends.

“On a purchase worth QR400, shoppers will be given two raffle coupons, so the chances of winning are more if you shop more”, he said.

Harengerd unveiled that besides the raffle draw, mall-wide sale is also going on where shops and retail outlets are offering “huge discounts”.

A staff member of one of the sports shops at the mall said that this Shopping Fun Activity has boosted their sales significantly for over a week now.

“Shoppers are stretching their budget to get at least one or two raffle coupons”, he added.

At City Center Doha Yesterday, large numbers of visitors were seen buying various items from different shops and retail outlets.

Upcoming raffle draws will take place at Dar Al Salam mall on September 6 and The Pearl-Qatar on September 13.
