Business overview
The Photography Festival Department is a newly formed one. ‘Tasweer' Photo Festival by 2020 / 2021 in Qatar is one of its initiatives. This is a seasonal festival, based in Doha, devoted to the discovery and celebration of historical and contemporary photography focused on connecting local and global enthusiasts and practitioners.

Programme Objectives
To get exposure to the Photography Festival activities
To understand the needs and priorities of the Tasweer Photo Festival preparations
To understand the different aspects of organizing the Photo Festival

Programme duration
3 months 

Key Tasks/activities
3 weeks will be spent in each of the different aspects of the Photography Workshop. 
The first week will be spent sharing and understanding the concept of the Photo Festival in relation to festival locations, setting up support spaces, exhibitions & visual interactions, and open calls.

• 3 weeks to be spent with exposure to: Indoor & Outdoor exhibits; Talks & screenings; Community Programme; masterclasses & workshops
• 3 Weeks to be spent with exposure to: Organizing support spaces: Studio, fine art printing, mounting and framing, library
• 3 weeks to be spent with exposure to: Fellowships programme, Open Call, Festival Locations
• 3 weeks to be spent with exposure to: Family friendly exhibitions & visual interactions, supporting the management team with the pre-event preparations
